The new Mitsubishi Shogun Sport focusses on what matters. Dependable four-wheel drive performance, SUV versatility and useful technologies make this a family 4x4 you can’t afford to miss. As stylish as it is tough, the Shogun Sport is a fusion of Mitsubishi’s pick-up and SUV heritage. Its original design is modern yet functional with an uncanny ability to fit in anywhere. Take it to work or the mountains, with 7-seats ensuring enough space for the whole family. A huge specification completes the package, with LED headlamps and a rear-view camera fitted as standard. Shogun Sport 4 models feature Adaptive Cruise Control and an upgraded 360° parking camera.
Shogun Sport Features
Style and substance
Utilising Mitsubishi’s ‘dynamic shield’ styling, the Shogun Sport is modern, angular and totally original. It’s premium through and through with that muscular exterior giving way to a luxurious, tactile cabin.
The Shogun Sport is powered by a muscular 2.4-litre turbodiesel engine with 181PS and 430 Nm of torque. This delivers flexible performance and is paired with a slick 8-speed automatic transmission for smooth progress.
The Shogun Sport is engineered for off-roading and helps you make the most of your adventures with Super-Select 4WD. Switch between 2H, 4H, 4HLC and 4LLC modes at the turn of a dial to optimise traction.
With 7-seats set into a spacious 2+3+2 configuration, the Shogun Sport takes family life in its stride. The boot’s enormous too - there’s 503-litres with five seats in place, and there’s roof bars if you want to fit a roof box.
Shogun Sport 3 models come as standard with a rear-view parking camera, while the Shogun Sport 4 gets an upgraded 360° parking camera. These activate when you are in reverse gear, or when you manually activate them.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features, so you can run apps on the infotainment system. Bluetooth and USB connectivity are also available to ensure you stay connected on the go.
Shogun Sport 3 models come as standard with cruise control, while the Shogun Sport 4 has upgraded Adaptive Cruise Control. The latter maintains your speed and brakes for you, to take the edge off motorway journeys.
The Shogun Sport is fitted with a suite of safety technologies, including Brake Assist, Mitsubishi Active Stability & Traction Control, Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist and Trailer Stability Assist for towing.
