‘4’ models come with plush leather upholstery as standard as well as a powered driver’s seat. ‘3’ models have heated front seats and an electronic parking brake to free up cabin space up top.
The Eclipse Cross has a sound-reducing windscreen on ‘3’ and ‘4’ models which reduces road noise intrusion into the cabin. At speed, this is a relaxing car to drive. Cruise control is a standard feature as is Lane Departure Warning.
4’ models stand out with full LED headlights, a powered panoramic glass sunroof, premium audio system, Blind Spot Warning & Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control.

The 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine is powerful and efficient with a wide torque band for flexible performance. It puts out 163bhp and 184 lb-ft of torque with a manual or automatic transmission available.
All models are equipped with a reversing camera. ‘3’ models add front and rear parking sensors while ‘4’ models get an upgraded 360-degree parking camera which makes parking and tricky manoeuvres a piece of cake.
3’ and ‘4’ models come equipped with a head-up display which is built into the top of the instrument cluster. It can display the speed limit, your speed and even navigation directions. Now that’s smart.
